Casey is married to Kathy (38 years) and they have two adult sons Tristan and Matthew. Casey spent 36 years teaching history/social studies in a public high school. He retired in 2019. Kathy works in an elementary school and both sons are teachers. Tristan works in a private school in Moscow, Russia and Matthew is special education teacher in Santa Barbara. Russ and Sue Carr invited Casey to join the board in the 1990s after he played soccer for Russ at Westmont College in the 1970s. He and Kathy have attended Santa Barbara Community Church for the past 40 years.
