Ed Pulkinen

Ed has been serving in sports ministry for over 20 years. He met his wife Cathy playing Ultimate Frisbee. They have competed at the top levels nationally and internationally and have run many tournaments including High Tide, the largest in the world. Ed and Cathy started Disc-iple Sports in 1996 and have used their expertise to share the love of Christ with Ultimate players and the sport of Ultimate with Christians. Ed has also served as the Area Director of the Coastal Fellowship of Christian Athletes and as the Regional Director for UW Sports Ministry. Currently Ed serves in Coastal SC and GA with Sports Outreach helping churches better connect with the community using sports. Ed recruits and trains high school and college students to serve as coaches at tournaments, camps, leagues, and clinics at are churches.
